Definition for APCCA LOGO for BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
The centrepiece of the conference logo is an abstract form of the Simpur Flower, Brunei Darussalam's national flower.
The artistic lines of its five petals intertwined within the flower to form a star which signifies excellence. With the APCCA official logo in the heart of the star, it symbolizes the strive for correctional excellence by the APCCA organisation with its member countries.
The use of red, black and yellow in the conference logo is a patriotic reference to the colours of the Brunei Darussalam's National Flag. The colour yellow in the lines of the Simpur flower is also a colour of hope while the flower itself is a symbol of life. The red lines behind the yellow lines symbolises the passion and the commitment of the corrections driving the rehabilitation of the inmates.
Here the message within is: "To give hope for a new life to those who need it, in this instance, the inmates we treat and rehabilitate in tandem with this year's conference theme : "Caring and Meaningful Rehabilitation".
